Yes, I know much of my blogging has centered around food, fabrics, and photos and many of you may wonder, "Where
is Cass?". Well to be honest, I haven't really felt like being showcased in many photos lately but it's sweater season now (which I love!) and so I feel much more comfortable trying to strike a pose in a wool cardie rather than a summer tee. Silly, yes, but bear with me.
Sam's parents drove out from Vancouver Island to visit us for the past 5 days and we've had a great time together. And we are certainly enjoying the chance to show off our new (first!) home to family. Which they have heartily admired and approved of. Sam and his dad have been very busy tackling various projects around the house and up in the gutters while Diane and I have spent a few afternoons making cards, going to craft shows, shopping, and making time for plenty of coffee breaks! The weather has been wonderful, lovely and crisp and mostly clear and sunny except for one dreary day. Sigh, I so love the fall. We're so glad they came out all this way to see us --- so thanks, Mom and Dad!
{I'm off to my first day of work tomorrow morning at 9am ... Very exciting!}
