on a break

We're finally away on our summer holidays. Enjoying the heat, lots of time with family and friends, wearing shorts and muscle shirts (ok, not me!), and chugging back our favorite fizzy drinks.

Please be patient ... I'll be back when I'm back. Right now I have some ice cream and fresh berries to devour. And maybe another fizzy drink.

I feel as though I'm making small gains on Henry's Baby Book these days - which is wonderful - and I happily spent my free time this past weekend creating this 2 page layout "Watching You Grow". And I must say I loved how it turned out! (Love, too, ordering photos already sized to trios of 2x3's to make the process easier.) Next on my list ... the progression of all the belly pictures we took and also a few pages of the Baby Showers I was treated to. And I have plans for the all important first page but I need to pull out the sewing machine for that one .... more to be revealed later!

We're just home from an across-the-street, lots of friends a'gathered potluck BBQ ... now it's bathtime for Henry and booktime for me. With a wee blog snuck in first, though! One of my friend's husbands was surprised to hear I had a blog and wondered if I just wrote about my day, every day ... such as ... "I just changed 3 diapers this morning" was his exact example. Oh dear ... what must he think of me!?! I had to laugh though, at such a notion ... I'm sure I'd bore you all to tears if that was the extent of what I wrote!
