there couldn't be a better time to go to hawaii

It's been cold here this week {with the wind chill down to -30c} and Sam has even uttered the words "What have we done?" in his frozen shock. I really think he's blocked out all the years he lived up in Mackenzie, BC as a boy! We're keeping tabs on the forecast for Maui next week and will be utterly thrilled with anything above 20c, though I expect it will be closer to 30c. What a treat that will be.
We won't get home until December 9th and so we got the tree all decorated this past weekend and put up white lights and other decorations, wreaths, berries, and greeneries around the house and at the front door. It's a big house and alot of corners to decorate so little by little I'll add to it each year. And next year I really want a big, real, wonderfully smelly tree!

{Bethany, I really need to commission you for more crocheted snowflakes, please! My little family of 5 is just looking too sparse!}

I hope you have a fantastic time in Maui! And you're not missing much here in Pullman...it is cold (not -20, but cold), and we have had our share of snow, too!

BRRRRR -I remember those cold Saskatchewan winters. Your house looks pretty warm and cozy though. Have a great time in Maui!
