his very first birthday party

It was party day today ... another First Birthday to remember! I am exhausted but I always love making this event special and unique for each of my boys. I need to enjoy it while I can for I know in a few years they will be asking for a pool party and a store bought cake. No frills, Mum, just friends! But this time I had a Noah's Ark party for Felix, using the last of the same themed cups and plates that were a part of Henry and Walter's first birthday parties as well. It seems as though I can get nostalgic about most anything, ha! Animals roamed the plains, rain fell on the festive table, and most fun of all ... a rainbow was found when we cut the cake! Felix was such a happy boy all day and he gobbled up all the attention and love from his family, somehow knowing this was his special day of days. Oh Felix, you are too funny and lovely for words ... Happy Birthday dear boy. I had so much fun making this party special for you. xoxo
