Well, usually I get up really early, shower right away and get on the computer with my coffee before Henry wakes up ... But today I wanted to dry my hair right away after my shower so I waiting. Had him just sitting there watching me, and after a bit, started amping up his "Mummm, I'm here" sounds ...
Which of course I thought was cute ... yet not relaxing. At all.
Yes...the shower struggle. I would either wait until Matthew's morning nap, or drag in the exersaucer for him into my bathroom. The exersaucer became a permanent fixture in our bathroom for awhile. =) I have a friend who would put her daughter in her daughter's room, give her toys, and shut the door while she took a shower. She just got used to knowing that this was the time mommy takes a shower. Another friend did the same thing but had her daughter contained in her crib with toys and books.
Sometimes when I'm in the shower, I swear I can hear Brady screaming. But he's always just fine - I guess it's that good old mommy guilt screaming in my ear instead!

So cute Cass -You'll have to try and sneak one in during nap time!
Aww.. just give it a little while. He'll soon appreciate TV;-) I think I just showered during R's morning nap.
