I feel as though I'm making small gains on Henry's Baby Book these days - which is wonderful - and I happily spent my free time this past weekend creating this 2 page layout "Watching You Grow". And I must say I loved how it turned out! (Love, too, ordering photos already sized to trios of 2x3's to make the process easier.) Next on my list ... the progression of all the belly pictures we took and also a few pages of the Baby Showers I was treated to. And I have plans for the all important first page
but I need to pull out the sewing machine for that one .... more to be revealed later!
As always, click on the photos to enlarge ... though I apologize that they are not the most sharpest pictures to read all the details.

Lovely pages; I'm inspired!
so beautiful cass! what a special keepsake you are creating for sweet henry!
lovely.
This is definitely a 'first-child' project;-) It is so beautiful and well done! I'll be completing Russell's album (0-3yrs) and then everything else is going digital. Won't have time anymore for the details!
I know, Hillary! I keep getting asked if I seriously think I'll keep this up for the rest of our children ... and (naively!) that IS the plan. That's why I'm wanting to get this pretty much done by the time Baby arrives - except for Henry's 1st bday - and I'm determined not to let it just sit and collect dust for years. Knowing that, come October, this scrapper's going to have very little free time!!
I know I'll do many digital albums too, but I really want their 1st Year Baby books to be created this way - especially as the baby kit I have has awesome 12x12 "pockets" and holders for the cards you've received and other memorabilia.
So I'll plug along ... and if I just continue to make this a priority for Henry and the NEXT baby too then i just won't let my usual procrastination win!
But, yes, it's ALOT of work!! (which, for now, I'm loving doing!!)
awesome, awesome, and awesome!!!!
love it
beautiful!
love, chey.
So motivated - good for you. Those are really special pages you have put together for that cutie Henry! Thanks for putting your comment about 'blurb'. I was a little nervous using a company I wasn't familiar with but is sounds like you have had some good luck with it. Wow - sometimes it's a lot of work being creative! :-) Love your posts!
