looking back

Looking back on this past year ... finishing the end of Henry's leg casts and starting up his 3 months of wearing the Boots-n-Bar ... finding out I was pregnant again when Henry was 3.5 months old (can we say surprise??!) ... had alot of fun telling everyone ... last ER episode after 15 years of being a loyal fan ... my Mum, sister and niece come to visit in April ... my parents leave for 5 months to Scotland and Israel, their big retirement trip ... our first Mother's and Father's Days ... the Epic Cry-It-Out-Battle between Henry and his Mum ... Mummy won ... out to BC for 3 weeks in July for summer vacation ... Girls Getaway with Joy and Lorna (new summer tradition?) ... 6th anniversary getaway to Sechelt for Jeff and Shendah's wedding while Henry stays with Auntie and Uncle and Isla ... our sweet Sophie-cat is suddenly killed by a car in August ... Sam paints the living and dining rooms with only days to spare before Henry's birthday party ... both Isla and Henry turn 1 in September ... then 2 days later our second son Walter Hugh is born on October 2nd ... October is "Family Visiting Month" to help with Henry and Walter ... I turn 35!! ... my brother Cale comes up from San Diego for a visit over American Thanksgiving ... back to BC for Christmas and New Years ... lots of Grandparent/Grandchildren time ... Eli and Allison get married! ... Walt laughs for his Mumma and there couldn't be a better sound ... looking back on this past year, now with two boys ... I can hardly believe it!
