The boys and I are away on a little holiday. Yes, you read that right ... I'm traveling alone with three littles! We've come to my sister's place in Vancouver for 10 days first, for some serious cousin-and-cousin-and-cousin-and-cousin-and-cousin play time. This photo was taken last night just before bed while they were all watching a little TV together, hence the completely zoned out look on all faces, ha! Isla and Henry are just 19 days apart and then every fall after that for 3 straight years another sibling and cousin was added to the mix. So now they are a fun pack of good fightin', lovin' friends ... all boys in one family and girls in the other. We're so glad that's how it worked out and hope they will always be good friends together. Right now, they're relearning how to play well with each other and except for the shrieking spats every few minutes they're doing rather well! This Mumma is doing alright too. I can see it will be a long 3 weeks away but it is nice to have a change of pace, a change of scenery, and a change of routine. Though Henry did cry the first night trying to get to sleep, wanting to go back to Nana's house and see Daddy, dear boy. But now, no worries, he's very happy to stay and visit and play to his heart's content.
And Facetime with Daddy every night in the meantime.

This reminds me of the Taylor cousins as they'd do the same thing in the evenings at Grandpa and Grandma's house! Have fun on your holiday.
Have a lovely holiday, Cass!

Enjoy these times. (I certainly wish my children had cousins their age:-(
I love that Elsie and Arden are such good friends! It is also adorable to see how much Maddie loves her big cousin, Isaiah. She adores him. Cousins are certainly special friends! Enjoy your cousin time :) And I hope Felix starts sleeping soon so Mummy doesn't go crazy. Take care. Love, Chey. xo
My kids have only long distance cousins, too, so I can appreciate how special of an opportunity this is. They look so cute, too!
