We just returned home from spending 3 hours at the Cowichan Exibition and by the overload of photos I've included you might suspect that I loved it! Farmers proudly displayed the best of their best, from cows to emus to rabbits to pigs to sheep and even a 2 week old water buffalo calf. There was a Ferris wheel, tractor pulls, a roaming pipe band, 4-H showings, Greek food and fresh donuts, quilts, demonstrations, and so much more we didn't get to see as three little boys were getting awfully tired by 7:30 pm. The location just north of town was beautiful and it was fun for the parents and grandparents to watch Henry and Walter's excitement over every rooster's new cockadoodle-doo and every rabbit's nose twitch. Definitely on our must-do list for next year ... this sort of event only gets better and more enjoyable as the boys grow up!

These moments of pure fascination with the world will pass. I'm so glad you're capturing them day by day!
