walter's first day of school!

And just like that ... there he goes. Our second baby started preschool today. He was awfully excited (most about finally having his own backpack and with what exactly was inside) but he absolutely refused, with a whine and a furrowed brow, to give me any sort of a smile or a posed photo with his brother. I guess I can't win every time! (sigh) It was Henry's first day at his new school too and we could hear him telling Walter all sorts of instructions and how-to's ... old pro that he is now. They will be in the same preschool class for this semester which will be a unique and one-time-only experience for these best friend brothers. Class time is short and only 3 days a week but we're all excited for this special school time for them. A big first step in starting our life here in this new, but very familiar, city.
