I lived just outside Saskatoon for a year with my parents 15 years ago and so it's been interesting to go back all this time later and see the big and small changes. Sam and I stayed at the Bessborough, had a yummy dinner at a traditional English pub, savored late night milkshakes from the slightly different 'ice cream truck', and ordered in this morning's breakfast so Sam could study every extra minute. I also had a closer look at the CIBC branch, just 3 blocks away from our hotel, which is where I started my banking career at the tender age of 19 and where I got to work in the same branch as my Dad for the first and only time. Lots of good memories of our drives in and out of the city every day together.
So another quick trip, but a nice one for me. Gave me a chance to enjoy the downtown city life for an evening, go to Starbucks in the morning, and tackle one of my shopping/to-do lists. Home again now. Hot and tired. Summer is here and I am definitely big and pregnant now and feeling it!

Thinking about you all day that day and hoping that the exam went well. So glad you got a good look around your old haunts and it was interesting to note that you actually worked with your Dad then.Boy a car seat is something you forget about if you arn't up on the laws. Hope that the week is a good one for you as you get the whole bed to your self for a few days. Love to that big tummy too and love from us. Mom M.
Saskatoon is a nice old city and has always attracted and entertained the youth. I love the Bessborough and the restaurants in S'toon. Keep enjoying your last summer of freedom, but i think you are ready for the challenge and business of being a new mom!
