another identical moment (1 year & 3 days apart)

I remembered that I had this same pose of Henry from last June as I was taking Walt's photo today ... but wow ... just look at these two! It makes me so excited to imagine what Walter will be like in a year, as Henry is now, and I am so looking forward to knowing that big little boy too. I assumed Walter would be wobbly and unsure being up on the giraffe for the first time (my childhood toy ... yes, my Mum definitely holds on to stuff like this ... for 35 years) but he was a natural! Really surprised me ... and thus I was able to just keep snapping the camera well more than an arm's length away. He was even moving it back and forth by pushing his feet and jolting his body forwards to get it going as well, smart boy. And after the little show he put on at the pool recently I'm wondering if we might have more of a natural athlete here ... hmm.
