Was it only just last May that we were taking Henry for his very first swim? Here we were back again and this time to let Walter experience his first time at the pool. And like last time, there was again no smiles at all for the camera but they both loved it ... relaxing in their dolphin chairs or in Mum and Dad's arms splashing and swirling around. And for a boy that you can distract him from anything with the appearance of a ball, once Henry spied all the floating balls for the taking he was in heaven! He was just concentrating so hard in keeping those one, two, or three balls in his arms, not letting his head move at all, just his eyes shifting about. Funny boy. And Walter surprised us both .... towards the end I had him on his tummy in the water and he immediately started kicking and doing the doggie paddle. An instinctual swimmer ... with a gleeful smile on his face. So different from his brother as Henry would wail if any drops of water splashed on his face! I'm so glad we decided to do this today and happy too to have two very tired boys napping the afternoon away ... time for Mum to steep a cup of tea and read a chapter or two perhaps? (Or more realistically, just make dinner in peace!)
I loved looking at your "May in pictures" blog. Seems like they are playing together a bit more now! Essie(3) and Joel(1) are beginning to ...although Essie usually just pushes him over a lot and he cries:-)

Did you get tea and a few chapters?
Wonderful Cass - and glad to see you're getting Henry and Walter ready for Okanagan Lake.

This was us last weekend! Our boys love going to family swim. We usually do a hot drink and doughnut after, which they're also rather fond of!
PS: I posted about the Sawyer onesie... Awesome!
