Having our boys 12 months apart was certainly a shock ... and the only reality we know ... yet we are increasingly thankful that they
are so close together in age. As now they really, really have fun together! Granted, there's still alot of screeching (from Walter mainly, who still doesn't talk) and toy grabbing and constant competing for Mum's special attention but all in all they are so happy to be together. Henry even calls Walter "Buddy" quite often and says "Wah-ter, you a good brudder", oh, melt my heart. And their big open-arms-squeeze-hugs, they love to hug each other. It's usually Walter who initiates those, that little boy who adores his big brother. Soon we'll bring Baby into the mix, with a 2 year gap that feels so vast for me. But I cannot wait to see these two love on the Little and to experience their own little baby to care for. So much work for Mum and Dad in these early years but a better balance for the kids, I feel. To have more than just one other sibling. So by Christmas, back to Nana and Grandad's, we'll have
Three. And three is just right.
Well, right or not, I'm telling you ... three is it! ;)

Even Michelle Duggar (19 & Counting) said the youngest years were the hardest. She said these years are so much easier with teens to help:-)
Are you 'stopping' at three? Oh, come on- your babies are so handsome!
I love the picture of the two of them in the big hotel bed. Adorable!
I admire you, Cass. There's no way I could have coped with having my two just 12 months apart! Hopefully you'll find adding the third into the mix just easy-peasy!
Now when you quote Henry, I hear the words in his cute little voice! We had such a good time getting reacquainted with them in August.
