i can't help but take her picture

Oh my, this little girl is just deliciously sweet, I love her so much. And I just can't help but take lots of picture of her. My sister's little Eden Cate turned 3 this weekend and so I went back over to Vancouver yesterday with just Henry and Walter for a little family party. I couldn't help but watch her and think ahead to my Felix in only another year, talking up a storm. The cousins have paired up perfectly (and so thank goodness my sister's having a third - a boy! - as a chum for Felix) with Henry and Isla and then Walter and Eden as each other's "besties". I wish I could describe how much Walter loves Eden and I hear the feeling is mutual ... when we arrived Eden just kept prancing around the room saying "My friend Walter is here, my friend Walter is here!!". So so special. And exactly what makes these ferry trips, early mornings and late nights worthwhile, getting these kids together on a regular, casual real life basis. Growing up with their cousins. And for my boys, growing up with some girls!
