the meaning of silence

On my computer this morning, I wondered why it was all of a sudden so quiet in the room ... when Henry was meant to be playing just behind me. It didn't take long to understand why ... The Boy is standing and standing wherever he can!! He started pulling himself up on the couch or another object while we were away on holidays but it's been pretty few and far between since. Suddenly this morning, it all clicked for him and he's up and down, grasping onto whatever vertical handle he can. We're so proud of him and you can tell how proud he is of himself too! ... this next milestone. And, oh my, walking's next!
