a boy's supersized bathtub
Sam took this week off work to have some dedicated time to our many house projects (mainly painting!) but we also used this 'home in the daytime' opportunity to go for Henry's first swim when we knew the pool would be quiet. In fact, it turned out we had the whole kiddie pool entirely to ourselves so it was perfect! Henry loved it ... though you'd never know it as we just weren't able to capture any of his big toothy grins whenever we pulled out the camera. Sam and I had such a good time too, just playing and laughing with our little boy, and we so enjoyed this new family adventure ... reminding us that it's time now for his childhood and all the fun memories we'll create for him and his brother or sister.

so sweet Cass. The water is so great...Elsie would have stayed in the hotsprings for hours but her little body and my pregnant body would only allow about 45 mins at a time! Still lots of fun.
FUN! FUN! FUN! I'm looking forward to meeting this growing boy.
So fun! I love swimming with the little ones. (and swimming while pregnant!) Henry is a sweetie.

such a fun family outing! Henry is such a beautiful boy and really seems to love the pool. Hunter is going to an outdoor pool today for his birthday and then Sun. is having a few friends over for a small party. have a wonderful weekend , hope your weather is improving too. love Mom M.

I love family days like that too and can just imagine how great of a time you had. It's the simply things that can bring us so much joy!
BTW, even though he is not smiling, I think the pictures turned out great! That is a great picture of you on the first one!
