Is it odd to want to celebrate "a third" birthdays?? I know ... I fully acknowledge that this blog has become Henry obsessed and yet like many other bloggers - and mothers - before me, I need this as a journal for myself. A memory keeper, a recorder of moments, as I know so much, so many details, will be easily forgotten in even just a few weeks. And life is in the details, I know, those silly, wonderful things that make a mother feel a little teary and alot proud. Like watching Henry reach for - and finally connect with - his raised skyhigh feet this morning. The same feet locked in his white 1950's style leather boots, stuck in a permanent V shape. But he's not letting that little detail stop him from reaching those feet he's been eyeing up for some time.
We still can't see many hints of who he may look like ... {are we bad parents because
we just can't see it?!}. But, oh, I know he's my son as he has the same ... bright, bright blue eyes ... the deep dimple embedded on his right cheek ... fingernails that grow too long, too fast ... the enjoyment of sneaking a bit of TV while munching on breakfast, lunch, or dinner ... sleeping in whenever given the chance ... feeling calm while listening to Joshua Radin's
Star Mile song ... and reading ... oh, we both love our books! {Please, just let me have one bookworm child ...!}
So happy "a third" birthday, Henry, we love you
so much ... it's not even funny.

What a cutie!!! The time flies doesn't it Cass? Looks like the Morgan family is enjoying little Henry to the fullest. What a great gift they are!!!
His face is really looking chubby...what a sweetie-pie!!
He is adorable, Cass. It's fun to watch him change and grow.
this is such an awesome way to journal and have a keepsake of pictures and stories at your fingertips..i enjoy checking in on the Morgans and their new family updates!
I think he looks a lot like his Mama...definitely the features are there! The dimple is so great.
I pray for a book worm child too...maybe one will want to go to university! I hope that is the case. It is not weird to celebrate "a third" birthdays...I would like to have 18 week ultrasound birthdays!
Love ya,
Chey.
I've never been able to figure out who my kids look like, although everyone else says JIM!
Henry looks beautiful, that's for sure.
Celebrate those milestones...they keep coming more quickly as time goes by. Amy turns six and Jeremy turns nine this year. Where did all that time go?
What a beautiful boy "Henry".. and keep enjoying and blogging those moments Cass, cause they are oh so special! I was a journal person, so I look at those journals and relive those precious moments!!! They pass by so quickly and unfortunetely so do those precious memories!!
Keep on a bloggin' Cass!!!!
It seems like it is always hardest for the parents to tell who their kids look like! :)
Your blogs are always fun to look at and read!
hey, could you e-mail me your ph# sometime?
