This morning was the long awaited ultrasound - an agonizing bladder filled, corridor waiting, ultrasound belly-goop smearing lead up to the moment of meeting our child for the first time. Which was of course wonderful! He or she was moving around a good deal and didn't sit still too well for an ideal photo shoot {Sam thinks it's a boy and a good soccer player at that!}, but we certainly got a few pictures. Unfortunately they don't have the capabilities to put these images on a disk in digital format for us, so I've scanned them at work and tried to get them as close to clear as I can. You can click on each to enlarge.
You can see a little foot, a little arm and hand, a perfectly nosed profile, and one looking right at us - all documented and well preserved for future baby books and my memory box.

this is so amazing that you can bring back pictures of baby from an ultrasound while growing inside your tummy. it is such a miracle...and so exciting for you and your husband...did not happen in my baby days.....!
