is this going to be all about babies?

Well, yes, quite possibly! I don't deny it's a great deal of my thoughts lately and the reason for the sparkle in my eye. Here I am this week at 18 weeks and Bethany at 21 weeks. Somehow I actually look smaller than last week, but I think that rather has to do with the angle I'm presenting The Belly. Give me two weeks though and this blog will be all about renos, renos, renos, so just hold on and I'm sure you'll get more than your fill of that next focus!

And ... my sister and brother in law found out yesterday that they're having a girl and so I'm thrilled that I'll be an aunt and not an uncle!! (oh, that old joke still cracks me up every time!) Really, it's terribly exciting. My Mum had a dream in the beginning that we're both having girls and so she felt very triumphant with that news ... but she's only half right so far ... we'll have to wait til September for our own surprise. Guesses???
