unpacking

Just back tonight from a work trip away. One of those Personal Development seminars. Today was better than yesterday's long day but, still, I'm Lou Tice'd out for a few weeks - til our next 2 days, at least! Here's a shout-out to Sharla, my co-worker I got to spend lots of time with!

Sorry for the long silence, folks. These past few days away have been my best excuse and then before that it seems as though I just haven't had much to say or write about. I think my blog goes through days of seizing up as well ... as my baby countdown ticker is stuck again on yesterday. I can't even go in to their website to remove and re-do, so I suppose that's the problem really.

2 weeks now til our ultrasound, which is awfully exciting. And no, we're not finding out the sex of the baby, so don't even try asking! Though I was under the impression that our town only does them before 16-18 weeks {so I chose 18 weeks} but have just found out that other doctors have a policy of 18-22 weeks, and I'd really rather be later than earlier. So I'm toying with the idea of rescheduling til 20 weeks or so but I'm sure my impatience will win out in the end anyways.

Just found out that the TV show ER will be ending next season after 15 years ... so sad. You hear that, Joy?! I've been a die hard fan from the beginning, though there's been lots of changes and it's never been the same as the original cast left one by one, but still I'm sad to see it go.

So glad to be home. Sam and I haven't spent more than a night apart for almost a year now and it really felt strange to be apart. To have that whole hotel room to myself. Yes, we're saps. And love each other immensely. So, so nice to have that.
