blissfully unaware

Ha! - I am so the person who's making note of my cat's birthday, yes I am! I remembered this evening that this is Sophie Roux's 1st birthday -- as we got her when she was 12 weeks old in December and so arbitrarily picked her birth-day three months before that. Still no furless brother or sister for her yet! ... now only days away from "The End" and still Mumma's feeling no signs of any action except for a very heavy baby-in-the-belly pressure when I stand up and the occasional aches and pains. I must admit, I'm certainly enjoying the anticipation and the wondering wait but I'm also savoring the knowledge that it's not quite yet. It's hard to let go of this wonderful Family of Two we have now, which is all we've ever known, and it's also hard to let go of the idea of being pregnant ... as I've really loved being pregnant! But I'm also getting dreamy about holding my babe soon and knowing that he or she will be all mine, mine, mine. And we'll be a new family. It's Sophie's birthday today, but when will the next family birthday be?

BEFORE we had kids, we celebrated our dog's b-day ... now the poor dog is forgotten and only the kids get parties for their b-days!

Cute baby pics from your sis!!! and b-day pic of your cat:) Are you doing any hiking or anything else to stimulate labor..the rubbing thing;-)...I ended up having my first 2 exactly on the due date, but my sister did not and she did lots of stimulating to get labor going....not sure how much good it did, but she did eventually deliver w/o being induced...
