Keep us in your prayers!
Noon update: We are home again now. I started the induction process close to 10:30 this morning, and was monitored for an hour after the gel was inserted. Thankfully the on call Doctor who did this is a "big city Doc" and is used to the practice of sending the Mums home for 6 hours instead of having to stay and be monitored every hour. Apparently I'm the first this has happened to and if we would have had any other Doctor this morning then I would have been simply expected to stay ... so I'm so grateful to be able to come home for a time. Feeling a bit of discomfort now but nothing that I can truly identify as contractions, perhaps just sore hips and back from lying on my back most of that time. I know it may take some time to get this party started but I'm hoping to make the most of this home time to relax, stretch my hips and ligaments often, and work comfortably through what is to come soon. The real deal!
