meet me at the fair
Leading up to Canada Day on Wednesday, The Fair is in town!, and so we met up with a group of friends there tonight for a few hours. And I had so much fun! (Ha .... Quiet fun, as I'm sure I wasn't that exuberantly expressive about it to everyone!) It was so nice just spending time with friends, these friends I feel so comfortable around. Savoring this still new "family moment" as I look over to my husband and son, out for our "family fun night". Watching our friends' older kids love, love, love going on all the rides. And spying more familiar faces in the crowds, as we've now lived here almost 2 years and so seeing someone you know can happen rather easily in a town this size.

Henry had his hat on in all the pix! I miss the Saanichton fair held on Labor Day wknd.
