We surprised Henry with his presents this morning ... decked out with balloons and waiting on his play mat in his new big boy bedroom. I don't think he was quite sure at first what to do with all these colors and shapes ... and new toys! Both Grandparents and his Auntie and Uncle had sent on some wonderful gifts (thank you!!) and I've had some treats tucked aside for awhile too. Actually ... awhile being over 3 years "tucked aside" ... as I bought this Radio Flyer Push Wagon when we lived in the States over 3 years ago! Waiting, just waiting. And thankfully this was the perfect time to give Henry this gift as he's up on his feet so easily now and walking along behind this wagon now will only improve his balance and mobility even more. Sam's special gift was a child's size authentic Liverpool soccer ball ... as that is their team ... and I've been warned that a real uniform "kit" will most likely be next year's gift too! The Birthday Boy has his first cold this week too so we're enjoying pajama days, long naps with the humidifier blowing, and lots of nose wipes ... oh, what timing! I have my pre-op appointment today at the hospital, Bethany flies in tomorrow from Vancouver, and we're set for 8 am on Friday to meet Henry's brother or sister! What a week ...!
But today, it's Henry's day and we have so loved this first year with him. You are definitely our beautiful, beautiful, beautiful boy.

I love the Radio Flyer wagon! Where did you get that? That would be a great present for Jack for Christmas :-) Good luck on Friday... I can't wait to see if you have a boy or a girl. So exciting! Henry is simply adorable. It looks like he had a great birthday. You're right... what a week!

The Radio Flyer wagon ... I actually ordered off of Amazon.com when we lived in the States ... seeing as you can order everything off Amazon there ... not just books and DVDs as it is here. Was a good deal ... and I've been waiting SO long to give it to one of my babies!
